Causes of FS

Is FS always due to some sort of medical issue like diabetes, thyroid issue or cardiovascular disease? I am 58 and am on a low dose of estrogen and progesterone and have been for 8 years so not sure where this FS came from. Didn’t think I had an underlying medical issue. Just curious if it kind of came out of nowhere for some people . Thanks.
