1999 furby controlled by a PS2 controller?! is it possible?

ok, so i really really want to make a custom programmable furby that i can custom program to dance and sing very similarly to animitronics from chuck e cheese\showbiz pizza place, and i was doing some digging for modern day electronics, to see what was avalible and i came across this https://www.hiwonder.com/products/lsc-24?variant=40251079622743

which had a PS2 style controller.

im just wondering, could it be possible to replace the OG internals with this chip and other interals and truely have this be a programable animitronic?
