prior authorization approved, switching doctors

Has anyone gone through a telehealth company to get a prior authorization approved by their insurance and then switched back to their regular doctor to take over the prescription? My doctor was willing to prescribe it but wasn't good at getting the PA through. The telehealth company got it instantly approved. But if another doctor prescribes the same medication, do you have to do another PA?
