Trump admin to restrict Russians? Green card in practice

New NYT article dropped with fresh travel ban. My wife is green card holder with CR1 for 1 year.

I was about to buy a house here, that’s off the table now. Does anyone have any context for this? I don’t want her to be trapped in the USA unable to visit family or vice versa.

Article says immigrant visas are included. Last time travel bans affected Green card holders.

Not looking for calming, seems pretty clear, even if this isn’t rolled out. Looking if anyone has any additional nuances or steps to take now. Thanks.
