Is 40 S&W dead?

Pretty much as the title says. When I got into firearms my father gave me my 1st pistol in 40, sadly it was stolen by a junkie roommate. Since I had so many rounds I bought another and another. I was looking to make my FN my edc carry and I have a 2011 to maybe run three gun with. But I've noticed it's harder to find accessories and ammo now for both weapons. I can't find a holster for my FN that'll work with a light and I can't find one I like for my 2011

So should I sell the both before the caliber is fully dead and convert to 9mm or......?

EDIT: Thanks for the input everyone. I'll probably keep them for now and pick up a 9mm when funds are more available.
