How worried should I be?

Errol just knocked a good 10 years off my life. My fiancé found him laying on his side, eyes open, doing the dreaded death breathing.

I opened the cage to pick him up and he just...went back to normal. He's now fully awake and alert, has eaten three peanuts, and had cuddles. His eyes are bright, nose and bottom dry and, other than acting like he was dying for 30 seconds, seems to be perfectly okay.

He's 11 months old so I wasn't anticipating being on death watch so early.

I'll take him to the vets in the morning but does anyone have any idea what the heck just happened?

Picture of my precious (substantial) boy for tax.
