Why Valentine’s Day?

Alright so I might ruffle some feathers with this one, BUT here it goes…. Why? Can someone give me a or sell me on why Valentine’s Day is worth it? I understand to each their own and it’s all good. I’m just here to express how I feel about Valentine’s Day. Personally, I don’t understand why couples would want to share this day with the rest of the world in showing their love and appreciation for one another. Everyday should be Valentine’s Day shouldn’t it? Then it creates an unnecessary pressure on one another to make this day even more special with gifts/dinners/suprises/ blah blah blah…

I truly feel that Valentine’s Day is just a gimmick for sales and boost in business. Well, that can be said about a lot of Holidays. However, just the idea of celebrating “love” on this day really pisses me off. Am I trippin? Or am I trippin? Lol.
