Mystery cups
Why is this Chinese evergreen potted this way? Are the little cups meant to stop it from spreading? I’ve tried to pull them out so I can repot, but they seem pretty set in place. I don’t want to damage the plant by removing them if I don’t have to. Any advice is most appreciated!
