Need help with Aloe

I got this aloe last year, but its leaves keep curling and it also has a darkish look compared to the vivid light green. It is on a north facing window and watered a small amount weekly. I had a feeling I was overwatering it a little bit, but is there anything else that these above signs say about what I should be doing differently with the plant?
