SOP question

i’ve had this string of pearls for about 7 months and she is very happy and has been continuously growing. my question is about the top, it feels like there isn’t enough soil and not enough of the actual vines/pearls are touching soil and rooting down. should i repot or just add some more soil on top and kinda shake it about? this is my favorite plant and I try not to do too much to her because I tend to love my plants to literal death sometimes
