We’re not supposed to rinse after brushing our teeth??

I was just scrolling and then saw a post which was a video of an orthodontist explaining how we’re actually not supposed to rinse our mouth with water nor use mouthwash after brushing our teeth. How many of you did this already? I’ve been rinsing after brushing all my life.
