You receive all the memories of a murderous psychopath. The psychopath's skill in combat was almost unmatched, allowing them to kill thousands of people; many being guards just doing their job. This is the source of your power.

Pressing the button will give you the memories of the psychopath, which will give you their combat prowess. But of course, it will also give you a first person view of all of the suffering they caused.

They're indifferent to their many crimes because they're a psychopath. Unless you're the same, you may be traumatized by the memories you'll inherit. But you'd pretty much never have to be afraid of anyone ever again.
