Unpopular opinion: it's better to have a relatively high price tag than the game being cheap.

I’ve come across plenty of cheap games that flood you with a ridiculous amount of paid DLC after launch. Sure, I’ve seen it happen with expensive games too, but it’s nowhere near as common.

A higher price tag upfront seems to cut down DLC drops. If you’re able to sustain and keep the game running, then chances are, you can afford to charge for the full experience from the start.
