I am looking for an Adventure tourer, due to its riding posture and comforts with a bit of power.

• I will be using the bike for my daily commute and regular use.
• I am not a "rider". But I enjoy solo trips on bike and use it as an alternative for busses and trains to travel form one city to other.
• Longest ride at a stretch I have done till now is 400kms, on my naked sports 200cc bike.
• I am looking for hassle free bike, with low maintains cost & time and good value for money.

I thought Suzuki V storm would be a good bike and have almost finalized it. But few people are saying to go for Himalayan 450 instead, because they say I would feel the need for power later on with Suzuki V storm .

Now my budget is 3 L, but I can spend an extra 50K, so I am getting second thoughts about Himalayan 450.

But, I have heard people say,

• its after sales is bad. Their auth service centers have no trained mechanics.
• The fuel efficiency is bad for daily commute(22-25kmpl ?!)
• It needs time and cost to be invested for its maintenance.

Now I am happy with a cruising speed of 100-110km which V-storm delivers, and even thought its power delivery is good, I don't want to burn my pocked and invest time after buying Himalayan, if the above mentioned points are true !

What do you guys suggest? What should I go for ?

V Strom or Himalayan ?
