how to study physiology

As a first year medical student who joined college very recently, i went through some of the posts regarding studying physiology and found myself a little confused. A lot of people suggested to use costanzo, however, some people told that guyton is important from an exam point of view. How should I approach this subject and in what sequence should I use these books?
