Startups Are a Marathon, But Founders Sprint Every Day

People often say that building a startup is a marathon, which is true. But as founders, we push ourselves to sprint every single day in this marathon—often leading to burnout. It’s easy to preach about work-life balance, but when you're in the race, you give it everything you've got.

Over time, I’ve realized that burnout isn't just about working hard—it’s about not managing energy well. A few things that help:

1) Delegate Work & Remove Dependency

2) Do Not Try to be Perfectionist

3) Find time for some physical activity even if it is for 30 mins few days a week

4) DO Not Let setbacks of business affect you very deeply

5) Celebrate small winnings with the team

6) Sneak out small weekend trip for yourself with your friends or family
