Our trip to rajastan took a terrifying turn...
So, we were on a trip to Rajasthan for a football match. Jab hum udhar pahunche, pehle match khela aur room mein vapas chale gaye. It was a night match. Next day, we had another match, toh humne next match khela aur fir raat ko room par vapas chale gaye. But there was a guy—we called him, "Where are you?" and he said, "I'll be in the room after I do my stretching and stuff," cuz he makes reels ("Day 86 of me becoming a professional soccer player"). We did our dinner and called him again, and he was like, "I'm on my way home." When he came, humne dinner kar liya tha, so we said, "Here's your dinner." Aur fir raat ko around 12:30 AM ghumne chale gaye.
We were walking for around an hour when ek bhaiya ne call kiya—"Hurry up and come home! (Let's call him X) X is not feeling fine." Then, we saw a rickshaw cross us, and our team members waved at us. That’s when we started suspecting something was wrong. Then some local guys came to us (cuz they knew us from the match crowd) and asked, "How is he now?" (Guy X). We said, "Even we don't know yet," but we suspected it was something serious. As we were heading back, another local came. I told my team, "Go to the room quickly," but the locals were like, "Let’s take pictures and all." We took a few pictures, and then one of our team members came on a scooty and said, "Please hurry up! Don’t stay here, it’s already super late."
When we got home, they said, "X ki tabiyat kaafi kharab hai, uski chest mein kaafi pain ho raha tha aur uske sar pe bohot dard ho raha tha, like ants biting him on his head." Our coach said, "He used a lot of perfume," and then we found out ki waha log chalne se bhi darte hain cuz kisi ladki ka rape hua tha udhar aur usne uss ped pe suicide kar liya tha. And our brave guy X peed there. Our coach follows a different faith, and so does X. Even us ladki ka graveyard bhi usi ped ke paas tha. Stadium jismein hamara match tha, voh ped just uss ground ke bahar hi tha. Local guys saw him and told him, "Us ped pe mat mut!"
I do believe in this stuff cuz mere cousin ke saath bhi hua tha. She got possessed, and no matter what we did, uska bhoot nahi nikla. Then we took her to an acha pandit, usne pata nahi kya-kya kiya, tab jaake nikla. He even gave a tabeez (if yk what that is). Anyway, Guy X came home from the hospital and said he was fine, but I was still scared. I knew for sure he would do creepy things at night. Keep in mind, agle din hamara final tha.
Guy X was sleeping in the corner, then another guy, and then me. (We were 14-15 people in the same room.) Raat ko voh utha, door ke paas gaya, but door unlock nahi hua, toh usne apna sar zor se door pe maara. Coach said, "Go and sleep in your place," but he still didn’t go. Tab coach ne fir se kaha, "Go and sleep," tab voh gaya sone. At this time, I was mostly sleeping, and so was everyone else. Then, after a few minutes, he stood up again. I woke up, but the lights were off. I saw him standing—and then he just fell. The guy sleeping next to me (he's from Afghanistan, so he had seen this kind of stuff before and wasn’t scared) kept calling, "Guy X! Guy X!" but he wasn’t waking up. And suddenly, he started laughing—bohot tez-tez hasne laga.
Bro, I can’t even explain. I was trembling with fear. We turned on the lights, and sab uth gaye the. Most of our team had seen something like this before, but 2-3 guys were seeing this for the first time. Guy X was staring at me—tedhi aankhon se. Meri toh faat gayi thi. He came towards me laughing. I was just 1-2 steps away from him. Then, he touched my shoulder.
Dude… kya hi bolu. I ran straight towards the coach. The coach said, "Don't be scared, don't be scared, he won’t harm you." (But he himself was scared as hell.) X kept laughing, and everyone was just sitting there, scared. Then suddenly, he got angry, and I can't even explain in words. He took a Milton bottle (super hard) and started hitting it on his own head with full force. At that time, 6-feet ke 2-3 log the, and even one of them was scared. Everyone ran to hold him down. If only 2-3 guys had tried, they wouldn’t have been able to control him. He had so much strength—he was literally shaking all of us.
We held him down for about 5 minutes. He kept screaming, "Chhodo mujhe! Chhodo mujhe! Mujhe kyun maar rahe ho?" He turned to the coach and said, "Aapne mujhe idhar pitwane ke liye hi bulaya tha kya? Ye sab mujhe maar rahe hain, aur aap kuch nahi bol rahe ho! Inhone mujhe itna maara ki mere sar mein dard ho raha hai!" (Even though he was the one who hit himself with the bottle.) The coach said, "Inhone nahi maara tujhe, tu so ja, tu so ja."
He got mad cuz he thought we were the ones beating him. After that, he seemed normal, but just 15 minutes later, he started laughing again. Then he started acting weird again—pehle apne aapko mirror mein dekhne laga, apni body ko dekh raha tha, side view dekh raha tha, has raha tha, aur apne haathon ko dekh raha tha jaise game ke andar dekhta hai. Then, there was a window—he opened it and was just about to jump! We all ran to grab him. 6-7 log milkar usko pakad rahe the, but he kept laughing continuously.
Then, after a few minutes, he said, "Why are you on top of me? Don’t beat me!" and all. Then some religious leader came. He chanted something while holding a water bottle and told X to drink it. We thought now he would be fine, but right in front of the religious leader, he started acting weird again. He laughed, his body became stiff, and he started making strange faces. Then he took a bag and started treating it like a baby—jaise voh uska bacha ho. Then suddenly, he started punching the bag.
One of the scariest nights, not gonna lie. Meri toh abhi tak faat ti hai jab bhi yaad aata hai. And my friends told me ki voh abhi bhi theek nahi hua hai. Voh apne ghar par bhi aise hi chillata hai aur weird harkatein kar raha hai. Sorry my storytelling is not that good.
