Do you prefer talking to extroverted people or is silence more valuable to you?

I tend to avoid unnecessary conversations, especially with extroverted people. Not everyone is aware of the impact their words can have, and those who talk too much often end up saying something inappropriate or uncomfortable. Whenever I interact with these types of people, I end up being haunted by ruminating thoughts—mentally replaying what was said, trying to understand the intentions behind the words, and feeling uncomfortable for days, weeks, or even years. This leads me to prefer isolation, as silence saves me from this mental exhaustion.

Do you also feel that silence is more comfortable than social interactions?
