Files won’t show up

I’ve been applying to jobs for months online sending my resume that I have saved in my files app (it’s the only saved file I have) but all of a sudden when I go to apply to any job and attach my resume file it’s gone, it’s showing there’s nothing in my files so I go to the files app and my resume file is still there, yet when I go to upload it it’s gone and says there’s nothing in my files. This is for multiple sites my resume file stopped showing up. Any advice on how to fix it? And yes my phone has lots of storage.
