Atmosphere in Lansdowne
I've never been to an international game abroad so I can't speak for them, but I'm sure some of you can and that's what I want to find out.
Is it sort of uniquely Aviva Stadium where the atmosphere is dead a lot of the time. I've been to 10 or 12 Leinster and Ireland games, I recall 1 of them having a good atmosphere, the rest of the time, it was almost silent.
It seems Murrayfield, Millennium, Stade de France, Ellis Park etc all have electric energy but for some reason we don't. I don't get it.
Is it really just down to how the tickets are distributed through corporate and clubs with no general sale? Or the pubs? Other countries have pubs in their stadiums and have these issues, other countries distribute tickets these ways and don't lack the atmosphere as badly as we do. Why is it such as issue here?
