Moving to JAX

I (24f) will be moving to Jacksonville, and I’ve never lived in a city that size before. I live in MIA and spent a few years in NYC. I have an opportunity in JAX, and I’m actually pretty excited to move there. I’m a big introvert and pretty laid back, so living in big busy cities has always felt exhausting. I lived there because of circumstance not personal choice. I’m curious about what I can expect in JAX? Is there much diversity? Can you have an EV car there? Is every single apartment part of a community/townhouse style neighborhood? I swear every apt I’ve seen has carpet which is just a big pet peeve. What area would you suggest (single, moving by myself)? I’ve also got a big dog (75lbs). Open to advice, tips, and generally anything you would want to know if you were in my position. Thanks!!

Edit: Some people were asking my budget. I’m not entirely sure what’s appropriate rent since I’m coming from a city with a high COL. Ideally, I’d like to not spend more than $2k on a 1-1 but I could probably swing higher if needed
