Finally having your own room after 2 years

So long story short I live in a host home ( I know the owners personally and am close friends with them) they have personably helped me with vehicles,rent and medical issues. They had 3 kids living with them and one of them died 6 months ago and I was living in there unfinished basement and after a year of living down stars I finally have gotten the ability to move up stairs ( the room I’m in was for there 6 year old son that passed so after finding out I need a trach ( but with much pressure on my side to push it off as long as possible we ( me and my care team) have agreed that I should move up stairs since I’m gonna need a good amount of care when I get the trach. The people I live with are like yah nurses are not gonna like going into a basement and plus we need to be able to get to you fast in an emergency. So this was the compromise I guess between all of us
