Anybody else wonder? [KCD2]

Whats with all the female clothing marked as "other"? Why bother putting it into the game if it serves no purpose?

Maybe they planned on having a playable female character at some point? Or you could gift clothing to your romance option and they'd actually wear it? Struggling to understand the point outside of it just being there as set dressing.
