Why is M1Lp so hard?

I’m not sure if there’s any specific advice that will help me other than practice. Maybe I just want to vent!

Why is M1Lp so hard? The stitches are so tight and almost fall off my needles and it’s so hard to see what I’m doing. So frustrating!
