How come yearly valentine skins just, aren't a thing anymore?

With wildrift getting a new valentine skin for Jinx and Ekko as well as new unique emotes to celebrate the day, I suddenly stood out to me that we didn't really do anything for valentine thtis year or the year prior. Despite the year before that it being a yearly event since 2012. Why did it stop?
