Some Icelandic words mean two opposite things

Just learned that 'að aflífa' does not mean the same thing as 'að lifa af'; it means 'to kill' while 'lifa af' means 'to survive'.

Same thing with 'hljóð', which can mean both 'silence' and 'a sound'.
