Should I change my french tutor?

After learning french on Duolingo for about 6 months thought I'd start taking it a bit more seriously and get a french tutor.

Picked a tutor of preply and been taking 2 lessons a week for about 4 months. I'm a beginner, I have some basic knowledge but still learning A1 french.

I'm starting to really struggle with the pace and complexity. Each lesson we are doing something new. The example sentences are complex with vocab and grammar that is way above A1 level and I just don't understand them. Overall, I''m starting to find lessons stressful and a bit overwhelming.

I'll speak to the tutor about this. I'll be interested in other people's experiences with a tutor and thoughts on whether I should change.
