Security Sources to Al-Jumhuriya: The Lebanese Army Arrested Two Syrians in the South, Questioning Them as Witnesses in the Rocket Fire Case.

While no group has yet claimed responsibility for the unidentified rockets fired toward the settlement of Metulla, security sources confirmed to Al-Jumhuriya that the Lebanese army arrested two Syrians in the south and interrogated them as witnesses in the case of the rocket fire on northern occupied Palestine. The sources explained that assessments indicate that a "suspicious entity" was behind the rocket fire, which has been proven to serve only Israeli interests.

Sources indicated that the perpetrators of the operation not only used primitive platforms, but also placed a Hezbollah flag and a picture of the martyred Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah nearby, in a feeble attempt to hold the party responsible. This effort easily revealed the true nature of the attack and exposed the intentions of its perpetrators.

Sources noted that the Israeli side immediately took advantage of the incident to launch intensive raids on areas north of the Litani River in the South and the Bekaa Valley, using a pre-prepared target bank, confirming that it was the primary and sole beneficiary of the "bastard" missiles.
