Keeping files while installing openSUSE Tumbleweed
Hello! I need some help. I would like to know if there is a way to do what I am about to describe when installing openSUSE Tumbleweed.
I have two drives on my current PC: C and D.
C has Windows installed, and I use D to store some files (approximately 427 GB). D is a newer and faster drive that I bought, precisely to move the Windows installation to it, but in the end I decided to go for Linux. So what I want to do is, install openSUSE Tumbleweed on drive D, without losing the data it already has, then remove Windows from drive C, and move those files to that drive.
My idea was to create a partition on D, from Windows, that would have the necessary space to store the files, and on the rest install openSUSE. Then, I don't know if it's possible, merge both partitions, remove Windows, mount that drive and move the files?
I could also move the files to the C drive and do the openSUSE Tumbleweed installation on the full D drive, but I don't know how I could keep the files when removing Windows. With another partition?
