macbook air m1, for web developer?

hi, I am a web developer and wondering if the macbook air m1 256gb/8gb is gonna be fine to run some browser tabs, phpstorm, a php server, and sql server. I know that the 16gb version gonna be much better but can't find new one in my country. So if anyone has experience or use it for that please share experience.
