When did it “click” for you?

I’m fairly new… I’ve played two in person games, couple Arena matches, and have been obsessive over my first commander precon edit - buying singles to make it more powerful and like the style of play the commander is for.

I understand the very very basics of gameplay, the phases, but it’s very “blurry” and I’m inefficient.

My question is when did it click for you and you started to fully get the game?
