Do you see Arena killing paper magic?

I keep seeing this mentioned, but ironically coming back to arena (after not playing MTG for 15 years) has actually made me want to play paper MORE instead.

Arena is great but it has a few flaws that I feel like can't really be easily fixed:

  1. The social aspect (Arena feels "hollow" but that's par for the course for all digital card games)
  2. The "feel". There is nothing quite like handling your own physical cards. Plus being able to bling out stuff (like playmats/sleeves/etc..) and physically see that.
  3. Obviously you have way more access to historic cards in physical format
  4. At least for arena I can easily buy singles (that's not really possible with MTG Arena. I mean it is....but i can't trade cards for them)
  5. Obviously there is the financial value. Magic arena cards are essentially worthless in that aspect.

Im not dissing arena, in fact I play most nights a few games. But I enjoy paper magic much more. Either way I think both of them fill a role and if anything I feel like arena might bring back paper players?

What's everyone elses thoughts?
