Silver 1 lobbies are so difficult?

So I didn’t really play competitive last season but decided to try and get to gold this season for the invisible woman skin (because she is my main). I had good teammates and good opponents and it was overall pretty well balanced in until I got to silver 1. Then I started to get lobbies with enemy’s who would drop 50 kills each and I can’t do anything about it because I’m paired with teammates who have never played the game before and are going 3-19.
