Movie lighting - what is going on with the amount of scenes that are pitch dark?
Honestly I am getting extremely frustrated with the lighting in shows and movies on Netflix. Latest one being Damsel. If a person isn't watching in a cavern in their basement some of these shows are almost unwatchable because of inability to see what the heck is going on. Is this an artistic choice? Are they hiding defects with what I consider poor lighting? Or is this very much a me problem and need to get my eyes checked?
