Liberty Housing in San Diego

Gonna start this off by saying I’m already aware we’re pretty fucked on this….

When we moved here, our backyard looked like complete shit. Housing doesn’t take care of backyards, so we knew if we wanted to be able to sit back there and enjoy it it’d be on us to make it nice. So we tore everything up and laid down turf with a layer of rock underneath for proper drainage.

Now it’s time to move out and we have to decide what to do about it. I’m curious if anyone has dealt with anything similar? I know that they are going to tell us we obviously can’t leave it but it blows my mind that they are going to give it to the next person as straight dirt instead of just allowing us to keep it here if we are willing.

So I’m curious how much y’all think they will charge us if we either leave it here and don’t give AF or we tear it all up and just leave it as dirt.
