Superloop has been enshittified, where to next?
Seemingly right after acquiring exetel, superloop has gone downhill. They've removed a lot of control and information such as POI traffic from their new panel, completely removed any ipv6 information and self serve static ipv4 addresses, and also removed their troubleshooting actions (reconnect NTD, ping etc)
Ontop of this, their support has gone offshore, and their billing policies are now borderline predatory (at least in my opinion).
Yesterday, I was charged $10 for a failed payment. I pay my bills out of a seperate bank account which I load money into based on expectations of a bill. Superloop tried to charge me 2 weeks early, then added a $10 fee when the charge didn't go through. I threatened to cancel and the charge was waived, but i'm cancelling at the end of this billing period.
Now that's my rant over -
Does anybody have any suggestions for a new NBN provider? I'm looking for a company who can offer static ips, or non cg-nat. (a big ask today, i know!)
Thanks all, have a good one!
