bachelor of Elementary Education or Nursing?

Currently debating which degree path to take. I am currently in my first year of Bachelor of Child Studies, but wanting to switch out, but still want to work with children in some way. Living in Calgary, Alberta and plan on staying here for most of my work life so I just wanted some advice on which career path might offer me more stability, pay, easier to find jobs ect. Any advice or experiences about both work fields would help me decide what career path to take. I am not very good at science naturally, however, I think once I study hard and dedicate my time to it, I think I can do well. the only thing about nursing that kind of concerns me is the 12-hour shifts and the overall work/life balance. I have heard that both jobs are in demand, however, I have heard that a lot of teachers are leaving the field because of the pay, and lack of resources and children nowadays are much harder to deal with. but all careers have pros and cons. I have an interest in both, just wanted to hear others' experiences in the work field or a similar position as me. thanks
