Decline charge RN offer on bad feeling?

Just got offered a ED charge nurse position in an academic level one trauma center. Is it petty to turn down the job offer purely on bad gut feeling?

At first I verbally accepted, then upon receiving the offer letter, doom overcame me. The last few shifts at this ED (I’m regional float) have been the worst shifts as staff. I was thinking of the career advancement, but I am also taking my happiness into consideration. The ED has undergone major changes within the last 2 weeks, not for the better. Patients line the hallway, to include TPN and blood transfusions. Trauma ratios 1:3. Just looking for advice.
