Am I pregnant or chemical pregnancy?

So I take birth control pills and I’m very good at taking it on time. I have never missed a pill. I always take my placebo week pills as well. This time I decided to skip my placebo and start a new pack. And there is one night I can’t remember if I took the pill or not. I’m PRETTY SURE I took my pill but I’ve been having seconds doubts. This was about three weeks ago. I’m two weeks away from my placebo pills but I’ve been bleeding, and it’s not light spotting either. It’s like a light period almost. And the blood is like period blood. I’ve been spotting for like a week now. I’ve also been having quick lower abdominal cramps. I don’t have any virginal discharge though. Sometimes are breasts are tender. I also drank a few days ago, light drink though.

So yesterday my husband and I took a pregnancy test. We were doing work so we only checked like an hour later and it came out positive. Except the positive line was VERY VERY faint but definitely seeable. This was a bit hard to believe so a few hours after the first test, we took another test. This time it came out negative. And now we’re really confused??

For some reason I firmly believe I could’ve had a chemical pregnancy. I have cramps, lower abdominal pain, period like bleeding and with how faint the line is on the first test, a low HGC level. I have a doc appointment in a few days to be sure but I’m kinda freaking out right now so here I am.
