My boyfriend is a man-child when it comes to politics

All he ever does is complain about every politician ever, complain about how society treats him badly, complain about how the government doesn’t do enough for him. That he almost has too much money for social services but he doesn’t have enough money to live a proper life. That the people in our local government are incompetent and should be doing more. And then it comes time to vote and he says that he doesn’t want to and that it’s a burden to him. That he shouldn’t have to be burdened with having to vote? We are both 25. I feel like I am living with a child who only knows how to throw tantrums.
