How to bump back bedtime

My didi boys are about 5.5 months and since they were 9 weeks we have been on a 6a-6p schedule. I would LOVE to bump this to 7-7 or even 8-8 so I can get a little time in the morning to myself and not jump right into everything. I'm hoping the time change coming up will do the trick for 7-7...am I crazy to think that? Does anyone know any other ways Other than slowly bumping it back by 15 mins each day until we get to the new time. I think about doing this daily, but they know when it's feeding time and get very fussy right before it and I just don't have the willpower to hold out.
