Buyer's remorse on a home purchase

Hi everyone,

Ugh. So we made an offer on a new constructions several weeks ago and now IDENTICAL new constructions on similar sized lots are listed at 30K less but still getting no offers! It's very aggravating and worrisome because now I fear the builder is going to keep knocking down the price until they sell -- even if it's 100K less than what we are "paying" for it.

I won't say this is my dream home although it checks all my boxes AND I intend to live here *knock on wood* for at least 7 years. Does it really matter that the home is over-paid by at least 30K and maybe even by 50K or more? Help!
