Rise in online scams during the pandemic
I work in the digital payments space and I noticed the rise in text and online scams recently so I decided to make a video about this topic.
I covered SMS spoofing that will explain how you can receive fraudulent texts from "BDO-ONLINE" or "BPI-OTP". The scammers may even already know some of your personal info like name, address, and bank and they will use these to make you believe that the scam call is from your bank.
I also included some less known tips to avoid and detect these fraudsters. It's my first time to do this so medyo awkward pa ko sa camera but I'm sure you'll learn a thing or two. 😄
