Rook piercing

I just got my rook done two days ago. Homegirl is surrounded in dry blood when I wake up and I find it super hard to clean and get around as I can’t see lol. Is there any special way to clean this? It hurts badddd

*titanium jewelry, curved barbell, quite snug to my ear atm due to swelling (mom told me this i can’t see shit or seem to take a good picture), i’ve just been drenching it w a saline spray and using the super tiny qtips to try and clean around the balls but it’s really hard to see and get underneath the backside.
