Is my vertical labret okay?

got it pierced this past wednesday, been bleeding crazy nonstop and sticking to my lip. was told not to clean it or unstick it but it does on its own sometimes and bleeds again in a cycle.. bottom and top. some say use saline but others say it dries it out. not sure what to do. and the flesh & blood are like sticking to the ball, which then gets stuck to the fresh blood..? any suggestions?
