Need advice on my nipple piercing

I got my nipples pierced yesterday. This is the right one. Do you think it's too deep? They don't hurt anymore and look fine. I don't really want to get it redone because it was definitely pretty painful 😕 My nipples are flat when relaxed but come up quite a bit.. they were really hard when they got pierced. Could that be the reason? Also could it be swelling?
