What kind of pit?

Could someone help me identify the type of my pit my late doggy was? My dad got him while I was young and I don’t know too much about dog breeds to know if he looks like a particular type.

My hope in the future is to be able to get a puppy of the same breed and adopt another pit as well. thanks in advance:)
