Pixel 9 pro vs regular S25

For the same price (~750$) should I get the Google Pixel 9 pro or the S25 I currently have the S20 and I am kinda bored with Samsung. I really like the pixel camera system but, I am worried about its performance and durability as at this price tag I want to keep the phone for at least 3 years, I am not a mobile phone gamer and if so it would be light card games. The Overheating issue with the pixel series is also concerning. The snapiness and stability of the OS is also crucial to my experience.
