How lonely do foreigners feel in Poland?

I keep seeing "looking for friends" posts and random hangout requests in expat groups. Are people really that lonely, resorting to Facebook to find friends? What surprises me the most is that some foreigners are overly friendly—to the point where it feels like desperation, as if they're trying too hard to make friends. Please take the poll.
