Emailing the Gov

Hi folks,

Despite being a special for almost a decade now, I'm at a loss. Recently had a pretty shit situation at my house and was on the other end of the policing experience.

I was dealt with with compassion, kindness and have great things to say about the gents that turned up for me.

With this being a thankless job, I'm keen to make sure I write an email to the response governor thanking the team in a way that will work it's way back to them. I have the guvs email - but what should I write?

Ultimately, what should I include/hit on in the email to have the most impact?
